Man charged over armed shop robbery
A MAN has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a shop.
Two men walked into Armadale Mini Market in St Helen’s Place at around 6.05am on Tuesday and pulled out a knife.
Officers are still searching for another man, described as white, with a medium to large build and wearing a light-coloured jacket and black trousers.
The attackers demanded money and hit the shopkeeper on the hand. Despite this, he managed to raised the alarm and the pair ran off, but one grabbed a laptop on the way out.
