Man charged in stab incident

A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged stabbing at a house in the Restalrig area of the Capital on Wednesday night.

The 33-year-old will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today after being arrested by police yesterday.

A spokesman from Lothian and Borders Police said: “A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder following an incident at Pirniefield Bank in Edinburgh on August 8.

“He is being held in custody to appear at court today.”
