Malawi trip to build for future
A 13-STRONG team from Edinburgh and Newmains is going to Malawi to work with a charity alongside local families who are building their own homes.
The group will travel with Habitat for Humanity to build homes in the suburbs of Lilongwe from Wednesday, October 15. The group includes bricklayers and joiners.
The group held a race night at the weekend at The Jewel Social Club in Duddingston Park South and raised 2261 towards the trip.
Habitat for Humanity aims to rid the world of poor housing and works with people who are seeking to build a safe and secure home for their families.
