Make a splash for romance

ROMANTICS keen to demonstrate the depth of their affections will be able to enlist the help of divers at Deep Sea World in North Queensferry.

The aquarium is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a series of special underwater “love dives” this month.

Visitors will be able to send romantic messages to their loved ones via special waterproof boards which divers will hold up in the aquarium’s giant Underwater Safari display. Messages will include a £10 voluntary contribution, with all money raised being donated to the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).

Deep Sea World’s Gerry O’Donnell said: “We thought making use of our divers as sub-aquatic cupids would be a novel way for people to express their true feelings.”
