Look up to see your star
PEOPLE are being invited to make their mark on the Scottish National Portrait Gallery's Great Hall – by adding stars to its ceiling.
Visitors can also record their name, and the number of their star, in the Gallery of Stars for the next generation to appreciate. The long-admired ceiling will represent the zodiac in its 30 panels.
Visitors can choose where they want their star to be placed, for a monthly fee. Births and memories of loved-ones have been among the dedications so far.
