A CANDLELIT vigil has been held by residents of Newtongrange in tribute to missing five-year-old April Jones.

The event was held in Newtongrange Park to highlight April’s disappearance in Wales. Mark Bridger, 46, has been charged with April’s murder, child abduction and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
