Legend Lawrie oversees the end of an era
HIBERNIAN legend Lawrie Reilly was back at Easter Road yesterday to witness the start of demolition work on the historic East Stand.
The striker, one of the club's legendary Famous Five, watched as the wrecking crews moved in.
The demolition will clear the way for a new 6,400-seater stand, taking the stadium's capacity to 20,250.
The work is being carried out by DSR Demolition, and one of its staff, Louise Burnett, 28, admitted she was delighted with the job as she was a lifelong Hearts fan.
