Kevin Bridges appearance helps shoppers bag a laugh

SHOPPERS at a Capital supermarket enjoyed a laugh after funnyman Kevin Bridges dropped in to sign copies of his new DVD.

The Glaswegian comedian visited Asda at the Jewel yesterday, with fans queuing for hours to get their hands on a signed copy of Kevin Bridges: The Story Continues.

Susan Murphy, 24, from the Capital, was among those who lined up to meet the star.

The retail worker said: “I queued from half past ten but it was totally worth it. I’m a massive fan. My brother introduced me to him a while ago and I’ve been watching him ever since.

“He’s the only comedian who can make me cry with laughter. He’s brilliant.”

Clair Jackson, 25, a student from Galashiels, added: “I love him to bits. It was a good laugh and funny to see all the crowd getting excited.”
