Jokey Sir Sean points way to Film Festival
SIR Sean Connery joked with fans and signed autographs on the red carpet at the opening gala of the 64th Edinburgh International Film Festival last night.
The former 007 turns 80 in August and is celebrating his birthday early as part of the festival.
Former Bond girl Britt Ekland was also at the opening alongside Sir Patrick Stewart and Ugly Betty star America Ferrera, whose film The Dry Land is showing at the festival.
Sylvain Chomet's The Illusionist was the opening night premiere.
