Jardine snaps into different role for News
AFTER almost two decades in broadcasting you would think Stephen Jardine would be past doing work experience.
But the STV presenter was welcomed to the Evening News yesterday to try his hand at something slightly different – press photography. He was filming for a new feature for his Five Thirty Show in which presenters have a go at jobs they might have done if they had not pursued a career in television.
He said: "I must admit it was a lot harder than it looks."
The rookie snapper could not have had a more challenging assignment to cut his teeth on – photographing Sir Sean Connery at the Edinburgh Book Festival.
