Scotland experienced one of the worst storms in recent history today with winds reaching 90mph causing severe travel disruption.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 07:47 AMI would think that this is in fact due to the excess of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The result being not so much global warming as extreme weather conditions. The solution appears to be to look for renewable energy, rather than attempt to rely on carbon taxation and the human element involved to sort the problem. There was an old Scottish bit of advice, "keep it simple Jimmy", I have to remember what I was talking about the last night. I reckon that is the way to go, unless you would prefer a carbon tax.
