Illegal staff at takeaway

Two men have been found working illegally at a takeaway following a UK Border Agency operation.

Officers visited Natural Spice in Hawthorn Road, Prestonpans, on Friday and found two men from Pakistan who have no right to work in the UK.

They must now report to the agency while their immigration issues are concluded. The takeaway could be fined.

Adam Scarcliffe, assistant director of the agency, said: “The message for anyone living and working in Scotland illegally is clear – we will track you down.”
