Hunt for ghosts is sure to be a scream at hotel
GHOST hunters are dared to see what goes bump in the night at an overnight paranormal event at the Malmaison Hotel.
North West Spirit Seekers is challenging people to spend the night with the many ghosts which are claimed to haunt the hotel.
The building was once used to provide accommodation to sailors, and was something of a "house of ill-repute".
Arthur's Suite is said to be the most haunted room in the hotel, with many sightings of a strange ghostly figure in the room. Event director Tricia Danson said: "Many people who have stayed here have reported strange goings on, and unexplained noises and movements. The corridors and rooms scream of paranormal activity."
The event, on October 25, includes a psychic workshop, ghost hunt, a three-course meal and accommodation for 149 per person.
