How to beat online perils

BUSINESSES are being offered advice on how to beat online scammers trying to rip them off.

The free workshops, hosted at Haddington’s Town House on Friday, will see Claire Taylor from Scottish Business Crime Centre discuss internet threats to small and medium firms.

She will also provide tips on how to steer clear of online cons.

The project is run alongside East Lothian Council.

An informal networking 
session will start the day from 8am to 9am before the main presentation is delivered.
