Housing association takes on Glasgow development

A CAPITAL-BASED housing association has taken over ownership of two
sheltered housing developments in Glasgow.

Trust Housing Association will now manage homes in Giffnock and Bishopbriggs previously run by English provider Crown Housing Association.

All Crown staff and residents have transferred under the new
arrangement to Trust, which now looks after 105 developments.

George Veryan, deputy chief executive of Trust Housing Association, said: “I would like to thank the residents and staff for their patience, goodwill and support during the consultation period over the past few months.

“Now that the formal transfer has been completed it is business as usual and we would like to warmly welcome everyone to the Trust family.

“The addition of these properties enables us to offer our services in two new locations in the west of Scotland. We aim to ensure that a first-class service is offered to our newest customers and that all staff are supported during this transition period.”
