Hi-tech gift for Multiple Sclerosis centre in Granton

INVESTMENT firm Standard Life has donated five computers to the Granton-based Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre.

Carole Macartney, chair of the MS Therapy Centre, which cares for those affected by MS in Edinburgh and the Lothians, Fife and the Borders, said the gift was a welcome boost.

She said: “We are delighted at the generosity of Standard Life. There is a fair amount of admin to be done at the centre and our current PCs are getting on a bit. The new equipment means we can work faster and without fear of equipment breaking down.”
