Help Capital park take root
VISITORS to St Andrew's Day celebrations in the city will have the chance to help plant trees for a new wood in Wester Hailes.
Anyone attending the St Andrew's Do in St Andrew Square Gardens today and tomorrow from noon will be able to help pot tree saplings to be planted in the regenerated Hailes Quarry Park.
Visitors will have the chance to label their saplings so they can visit them once they are planted. There will also be the chance to pot your own mini saplings to take home.
