Helen fits bill for diet group

DIETICIAN Helen Davidson has been elected honorary chairman of the British Dietetic Association at the 6,500-strong member organisation's annual conference in Manchester.

Ms Davidson, who lives in Livingston, qualified in 1987 from Queen Margaret College.

She replaces Northern Ireland-based Pauline Douglas, whose two years in the post included a major strategic review.

Ms Davidson said: "I have been proud to have been involved in the BDA in one way or another since graduation."
