Gig Robs SFA of Hampden clash

SCOTLAND can't play their first Euro 2008 qualifying tie at Hampden - because it has already been booked by Robbie Williams.

The singer is due to perform at a concert on September 2, the night Scotland is scheduled to play the Faroe Islands at home.

The SFA will now hold talks to find an alternative venue for the match. Ibrox, Celtic Park and Pittodrie are tipped as the favourites.

Ian Black, author of the play "Tales of the Tartan Army" said: "It doesn't matter that we have to go elsewhere. We are going to hammer them anyway."
