Get creative for zoo inhabitants

CAPITAL animal lovers are being offered the chance to express their creativity by making “enrichment objects” for Edinburgh Zoo’s famous residents.

Those taking part can watch as zoo keepers let the animals loose on their work today.

Enrichment is an essential part of life for creatures at Edinburgh Zoo and helps to encourage natural skills and behaviours.

A spokesperson said: “Visit the event and have the chance to puzzle the primates or stump the sunbears.”

Keepers will be on hand to guide people taking part. It runs from 11am at the Budongo lecture theatre.
