Fundraiser for brain charity
THE sister of a man who died of a brain tumour is organising a fundraising dinner and auction in his memory.
Mary Malcolm is holding the event at Musselburgh's Brunton Hall on Friday, 23 October, to raise money for Brain Tumour UK. It will include supper and a ceilidh.
The local Specsavers store, on Musselburgh High Street, has donated 150, as well as providing gifts for goodie bags.
Store director Diana Macfarlane said: "Mary has done an incredible amount to raise much needed funds for Brain Tumour UK."
