Friends’ deaths in Blantyre home still a mystery

POST-mortems have failed to uncover the reason behind the deaths of two friends in a home in Blantyre.

Dominic Paterson, 21, and Colin Campbell, 25, were found dead in the South Lanarkshire house where Mr Paterson lived with his mother, Nicola.

Neighbours reported that a woman ran out the house screaming, ‘No, no,’ shortly before police were called on Tuesday at 6pm.

Strathclyde Police said that after a post-mortem held yesterday, the deaths were still unexplained.

Further forensic tests are now set to be carried out to try and establish the cause of the deaths.
