Fragile X in the spotlight

events are set to take place in the Capital today to mark Fragile X Awareness Day.

Fragile X syndrome is the most common cause of learning disabilities and autism, and The University of Edinburgh is home to the only research centre in Europe which specialises in fragile X gene research.

Lectures will take place at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in High Street from 4pm, while an exhibition including live music will be held at The Circus Cafe in St Mary’s Street from 5.15pm.
