Four charged after police drugs raids

Four people have appeared in court charged with drugs offences following police raids in West Lothian.

The accused all appeared on petition at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday.

John Starrs, 34, of Whitburn, West Lothian, and Nicole Deegan, 57, from nearby Blackburn, were both charged with possessing and being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

Starrs also faces a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Andrew Thomson, 48, from Armadale, was charged with possessing and being concerned in the production and supply of a controlled drug.

Nathaniel Dyet, 37, from Bathgate, faced two allegations of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

All four made no plea or declaration and were freed on bail pending further inquiries.
