Fitness plan scoops prize

an Edinburgh Leisure community fitness programme has claimed a major international prize.

The council-owned body that runs the city’s sports facilities was awarded the World Leisure International Innovation Prize for its Community Access  Programme.

Edinburgh Leisure chief executive John Comiskey said: “Winning this award recognises the hard work of all the partner organisations which help to make it a success.”
