First ScotRail chief on board for complaints

COMMUTERS will be able to complain directly to the head of First ScotRail tonight as she accompanies them on their journey home on one of its busiest lines.

Mary Dickson will join fellow rail chiefs as its "meet-the-managers" sessions take to the tracks.

It follows the managing director's invitation to passengers last year to put their views to her personally during her daily commute between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Ms Dickson will be among managers travelling on 16 evening peak-hour trains across the central belt, in a three-day initiative, which started last night.

She is expected aboard three trains running through Glasgow Queen Street: the 4:38pm Queen Street-Airdrie, 5:31pm Airdrie-Helensburgh and 6:54pm Helensburgh-Queen Street services.
