Filmmakers have 48 hours to make movie

FIVE HUNDRED filmmakers will be hard at work across the Capital this weekend as the 48 Hour Film Project gets underway.

The contest, being held for the third year in Edinburgh, will see teams write, film and edit a short film in two days.

The films will be screened at the Cameo Cinema in Tollcross on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The competition kicked off at the Cameo Bar last night.
