Family fun day kicks off

A FAMILY fun day is to be held tomorrow in a bid to raise funds for new community support and advice group, Footprints Scotland.

The event will take place at Newtongrange Star Football Club at midday.

There will be a host of activities on the day, such as a bouncy castle, sumo wrestling, face painting, a beat-the-goalie competition and a variety of stalls.

A sponsored ladies’ football match will also take place followed by a family disco.
