Family fear for missing man Tobias

FEARS are growing for a man who has been missing since last month.

Tobias Nagle, 24, was last seen leaving his home in Howdenhall Drive on Wednesday, November 21 and has not been in touch with his family or friends since then.

Tobias is also known as Toby, and sometimes uses the surname Semple.

He is described as white, 6ft 2ins tall, with a stocky build, blue eyes, short dark-blond hair and a pale complexion.

He has some superficial scarring on his forearms.

Police are trying to trace Mr Nagle and believe he may have travelled outside the Capital, having been known to spend time in Dundee, Oban and Tiree.

Sergeant Willie Falconer appealed for anyone who had seen Mr Nagle in the past three weeks, or knew where he was, to contact the force.

He said: “It is now more than three weeks since Tobias was last in touch with his friends or family, and we are keen to hear from him to ensure he’s safe.

“We would ask anyone who may have seen him, or who knows where he is at the moment, to contact us.”

Anyone with any information should contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131, or alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers, in complete anonymity, on 0800 555 111.
