Exhibition on Irish Troubles

THE history of the Northern Ireland Troubles is to be depicted through an exhibition of installations, film and photography at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.

Created by Scottish artist Roderick Buchanan, “Legacy” explores the impact of the Troubles in Northern Ireland through the stories of two Scottish flute bands – Parkhead Republican Flute Band and Black Skull Corps of Fife and Drum – as they prepare for and take part in Loyalist and Republican parades in 2009 and 2010. Legacy runs from July 4 until September 16.
