Exhibition in appeal for old school photos

PEOPLE who went to school in Craigmillar are being asked to hunt in their homes and their memories for contributions to a forthcoming exhibition.

Who Are You . . . Where Are You? will look back at the many schools that have served the Greater Craigmillar region since the 1930s.

Organiser Johnni Stanton hopes to track down old school photographs and memories from local residents of the area to include in the exhibition, which comes on the heels of the Craigmillar Then . . . photo exhibition, held earlier this year.

Mr Stanton said: "Judging by the interest shown in the 'people pics' of Craigmillar Then . . ., people like to see older photographs."

Contact Craigmillar Community arts on 0131-659 4759 or e-mail craigmillarcommunityarts@ gmail.com. The exhibition will run from 5 to 24 April at the John Maxwell Gallery in Artspace, Harewood Road.
