Ex-soldiers guard EICC

EX-SERVICEMEN and women wearing the Black Watch tartan have been recruited to provide security at Edinburgh's biggest conference centre.

Vigilant Security Services has won the guarding contract at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

The company was founded by ex-servicemen and women and a significant number of its staff are former Black Watch officers.

Sabastian Morley, the managing director of Vigilant, said: "We are delighted to provide the bespoke security service."
