End-to-end
for charity

FOUR friends have raised more than £20,000 for charity after cycling the length of Britain.

Alastair Dickie and Tim Appleton, from East Lothian, Gerry Mullan, from Edinburgh, and David Nairn, from Peebles, travelled 940 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats over nine days.

The £21,920 raised will be split between the Teenage Cancer Trust, Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland, and Prostate Scotland. Sharon Sheridan, of the cancer trust, said: “It’s an incredible achievement.”
