The lemurs get stuck in to the parcel ahead of Christmas

Edinburgh Zoo’s pair of crowned lemurs got an early Christmas present today, with the delivery of a special food package.

Mabanja and Fiddis were given the special feed by zoo staff to celebrate the pair’s first Christmas together.

The food package contained the lemurs’ favourite fruit, vegetables, sunflower seeds and nuts.

The lemurs, which are an endangered species, originate from Madagascar.
