A CARE worker is to take on a skydive challenge in aid of veterans.

Emma Ramage, 25, from Mayfield, Midlothian, will join other fundraisers at Fife Airport tomorrow for the charity event.

She will drop approximately 10,000ft from an aeroplane to raise vital funds for the Erskine Edinburgh Home in Gilmerton, run by veterans charity Erskine.

Emma, who has worked for the charity for three years, said: “I really want to raise enough money so that all the units can get something the veterans really want for Christmas.

“I can’t wait to take on the skydive – I’m really excited about it.”
