Edinburgh band OK Social Club win award

A CITY rock quartet have scooped a major gong at a prestigious industry awards.

After selling out their debut album launch night in the Capital, four-piece The OK Social Club picked up Best Live Act at the Scottish Alternative Music awards (SAMAs).

The SAMA’S were held in Glasgow’s Garage nightclub, and showcased the best new Scottish contemporary acts.

Band frontman Raffaele Eragona said: “We see ourselves as a live band first and foremost – it’s great to know that’s the hard work we are putting in is being recognised.”
