Eddie the eel in new home

A TROPICAL moray eel is set to move into a purpose-built new home at Deep Sea World after being donated by a member of the public.

After spending time in the North Queensferry aquarium’s quarantine, the half-metre-long snowflake moray will join a quartet of other eels in a themed display featuring a selection of nooks and crannies.

The eel, who has been nicknamed Eddie, was donated after outgrowing its original tank. A snowflake moray can reach a metre in length when fully grown.
