Duo saddle up for charity

TWO colleagues have set off on a charity cycle to raise funds for the Simpson’s Memory Box Appeal (SiMBA), which helps families who have lost a baby.

Colin Darling and Jamie Kriebernig, who are Royal Mail sorting office managers in the Capital, are cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats in aid of SiMBA after one of their close friends lost a baby and received a memory box from the charity.

They started their adventure last Saturday and cycled through Penicuik five days later.

They are aiming to raise £5000 and have already collected more than £4000.

Jamie, 40, stays in Cockenzie while Colin, also 40, lives in Corstorphine.

They are managers in Edinburgh East and Edinburgh North West delivery sorting offices.
