Drug accused on remand

AN alleged drug dealer has been remanded in custody pending trial.

John Starrs, 34, was fully committed when he appeared on petition for a second time at Livingston Sheriff Court yuesterday.

He was arrested after police seized £10,000 worth of heroin at a house in West Lothian.

Starrs, from Whitburn, West Lothian, was charged with possessing heroin and being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

He made no plea or declaration and bail was refused.
