Dolly good show for Playhouse musical’s cast

PLAYHOUSE passers-by had it spelt out to them that the Dolly Parton musical 9 To 5 was in town as the cast displayed a “Dollywood” sign in honour of the country singer.

Bonnie Langford, holding the “Y”, and Jackie Clune, with the opening “D” are among the big names in the show, which ends its run on Saturday.

Dolly said: “The musical is basically the same as the movie although a few jokes that might be more appealing to UK audiences have been added. “And I actually am in it – on video.”
