DNA clues found in Vicky Hamilton hunt
POLICE hunting for the body of missing schoolgirl Vicky Hamilton are believed to have discovered vital DNA clues as to her disappearance.
Detectives have been searching the former house of murderer Peter Tobin in Bathgate, West Lothian, to shed light on the 15-year-old's disappearance in 1991.
Despite failing to uncover a body, police have told Vicky's family that they are investigating DNA samples found in the house.
Vicky's sister Sharon Brown said:
"They haven't found Vicky but they are carrying out tests on DNA samples and are hoping they will lead to something. We have to continue hoping they do, so we can finally get some closure."
