Disease rates in spotlight
MANAGING increasing rates of chronic diseases across the Lothians is to be the subject of an upcoming lecture.
Experts will discuss the impact of an ageing population combined with medical advances at the Queen Margaret University event on February 22.
The debate will be led by Professor Rosemary Richardson of the university’s school of health sciences. She will also discuss the growing trend of self-management of diseases. E-mail events@qmu.ac.uk to book a place.
