AN INDIAN restaurant in the Lothians has been crowned best in Scotland at a prestigious awards ceremony.

The Itihaas restaurant in Dalkeith is Best South Asian Restaurant in the UK’s Asian Curry Awards – covering Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Japanese Nepalese and Indian food.

Itihaas Director Martin Khan said: “Things have been hotting up for us for the past couple of years.

“This is another confirmation we have a successful formula which combines mouth-watering food with premium customer service.”
