Dead hillwalker, 74, is identified

A 74-YEAR-OLD hillwalker, whose body was recovered by rescuers, has been named as Alexander Sproule from the Edinburgh area.

Mr Sproule was reported missing on Saturday after he became separated from his group on Ben Cruachen in Argyll.

Rescue teams and a helicopter crew discovered his body on Sunday morning.
