Danger drugs stolen in raid
A THIEF stole five packets of powerful painkillers from a chemist shop in South Queensferry.
The break-in happened between 6pm and 7pm on Boxing Day at the Lloyds Pharmacy in The Loan.
The packs of dihydracodiene tablets each contained 56 tablets and more than 200 Zimovane sleeping pills were also stolen.
Police have appealed for information to help them track down a suspect who was seen in the area at the time. He is described as white, around 18, and was wearing a three-quarter-length jacket, white hat, and dark trainers.
A police spokesman said: "
Anyone offered these tablets, or who has any information which could assist our enquiries, should contact police immediately."
• Anyone with information can contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131-311 3131, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555 111.
