Cyclists bid to tackle cancer

TWO Edinburgh students are attempting to cycle from the Capital to Holland to raise funds for Cancer Research.

Second year students John McShane and Fraser Smith aim to raise their target of 500.

John said: "The trip was inspired by a friend of mine who died from cancer earlier this year."

So far, the cyclists have travelled almost 400 miles and have received 200 in sponsorship.

To sponsor the cyclists, go to www.justgiving.com/john-mcshane-mcshane.
