Curtain up on Trust shows

OUTDOOR theatre productions are set to bring intrigue and drama to the grounds at the National Trust for Scotland’s Newhailes in Musselburgh.

The curtain opens at the 17th century house on July 14 with a performance of the Railway Children. On July 29, events take a darker turn with the troubled story of Richard III.

Property manager Rhiannon Naismith said: “We are really pleased to be hosting outdoor theatre. Bring a picnic and a rug or a low seat and enjoy some of our best-known stories being performed under the stars.”

Tickets for these events can be booked online at www.nts.org.uk/events or by calling 0844 493 2125.
