FORMER Rangers owner Craig Whyte has reached a deal with his estranged wife to get his Bentley back.

Kim Whyte, who lives at a separate address from Mr Whyte in Grantown-on-Spey, had won a court order to have the car sold at auction to settle a sum of thousands of pounds due to her.

The sale was blocked last month by a firm directed by Mr Whyte’s father Tom.

However, yesterday Inverness Sheriff Court heard the couple, who have three children, had finalised the deal.

The car would have been expected to raise around £20,000 at auction.

Mr Whyte stays at Castle Grant in Moray but also has a home in Monaco.

He was forced out of Rangers this year after presiding over a disastrous takeover of the Ibrox club last year.
