Courts target drugs assets
A COCAINE courier jailed for nearly four years after being caught with £80,000 of the drug is set to face a court battle to keep his assets.
Robert Waterson, 46, of Polton Drive, Lasswade, was jailed in January after being arrested by police carrying out an undercover surveillance operation.
Now prosecutors are seeking to seize his assets – and those of fellow courier Craig Emmerson, 25, from Port Glasgow – under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Almost a kilo of cocaine was found in Waterson's girlfriend's home.
