Countdown’s Capital search

TV quiz show Countdown is searching the Capital for contestants for its 30th year.

The show, now hosted by Nick Hewer and numbers brainbox Rachel Riley, was the first show to air on Channel 4 when it launched in 1982.

Now in its 67th series, the show is regarded by many as a national institution and one million viewers tune in every day.

Nick said. “Our contestants come from all walks of life – from teenagers to octogenarians, students to professionals, stay-at-home mums to
pensioners.”
